Acme Trip on the Fly

My starter stockpile was getting low on Hamburger Helper & I was just waiting for a good sale on the Betty Crocker Potatoes (those are a favorite of mines, for quick potatoes). I usually always try to Match-up with Acme's buy 10 get $5.00 off instantly. I get GREAT deals this way!!!!! Here's what I did.....

(10) boxes Hamburger Helper $1.00 ea
-(3) $.75/3 hamburger Helper (8/7 GM exp 10/1/11)
-$5.00 off instantly
= $.50 for all ten boxes (that's $.05 ea)

(8) boxes Betty Crocker Potatoes $1.00 ea
(1) Betty Crocker Super moist Cake $1.49
(1) Betty Crocker Frosting $1.99
-(4) $.50/2 Betty Crocker printable from http://smartsource.com/smartsource/index.jsp?Link=MKRU3JAAR6CCY
-(1) $.75 off Super moist cake mix & spread frosting (8/7 GM-Exp 10/1/11)
- $5.00 off instantly
= $.98 OOP

So all together I paid $1.48 OOP for 20 items which is $.07 each item. For $48.62 worth of groceries. That's a 97% savings!!!!!

Keep in mind that Acme doubles Manf coupons to $.99 ( that means my $.75 Q's doubled to $1.50) Note: NOT ALL stores fully doubles Acme is only 1 of 2 markets in my area thats fully doubles, so always check your store policies regarding doubling, coupons etc!!!!!
